Katni, in view of the increasing incidents of robbery, theft and stone pelting in Katni Railway Station and Outer, today a joint meeting of the police station in-charges of the entire city, RPF and GRP was held by the Superintendent of Police in the control room, after which Kotwali Police Station In-charge Ashish Sharma, along with his staff and GRP and RPF police, inspected the track at Khirhani Gate Railway Outer and reprimanded the people sitting at the doors of the incoming and outgoing trains and gave them advice.

Ashish Sharma of Kotwali Police Station area said that today joint patrolling was done with the police force of Katni GRPF Police Station, Kotwali Police Station and RPF to stop the incidents happening on the outer side of the railway station and the passengers sitting at the doors of the trains passing through the outer were reprimanded and given advice. He also told that such intensive checking and patrolling will be done continuously and a point has been made on the outer side of all the railway stations of the district where 24-hour ARPF GRPF and Kotwali police station police will be deployed so that no untoward incident can happen.
