Barhi police station in-charge Shailendra Yadav said that 25-year-old wife Sumitra of Sanjay Kol, resident of village Pathrehta of Barhi police station area, had come to her in-laws' house from her maternal home a few days ago. A buffalo gave birth to a calf in her maternal home, due to which other sisters had come to the oil mine, and were also asking Sumitra to come to her maternal home. When Sumitra, who had returned to her in-laws' house a few days ago, asked her husband and in-laws to let her go to her maternal home again, her in-laws did not listen to her and refused to let her go. All the people in her in-laws' house went to make bricks, and her sister-in-law went to give her 10th class exam in the afternoon. According to the police, Sumitra, who was alone in the house with her innocent daughter, first tied a noose around the neck of her innocent two-year-old daughter with one end of the sari between 2 and 4 pm on March 7 and then hanged herself with the other end. When the deceased's sister-in-law returned home after the exam was over, she was shocked to see her sister-in-law and niece hanging from the noose. She immediately informed the local people and family members about this, after which there was a lot of screaming in the whole village. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police took the body into custody and started the proceedings. The deceased's father Fattu Kol alleged that his daughter did not commit suicide, her in-laws strangled her to death. Talking about this incident, Barhi police station in-charge Shailendra Singh Yadav said that in the preliminary investigation it has become clear that the woman had talked to her in-laws about going to her maternal home. On which her in-laws refused to let her go to her maternal home. At the time when the incident happened, no one was present at home. The deceased first hanged her innocent daughter and then hanged herself on the other side. Considering the seriousness of the case, investigation is being done.
