Jitan Ram Manjhi: 'The day the Waqf Bill will be passed in Parliament...'
PM Modi gets support from Bihar's former CM
Patna, all the NDA allies have unanimously supported the Waqf Amendment Bill. Nitish Kumar's JDU, Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, Chirag Paswan's LJP and Jitan Ram Manjhi's HUM have foiled the opposition's plan by openly supporting the bill. This bill was introduced in Parliament on 8 August last year from where it was sent to JPC. JPC started its work from 22 August itself after which this report was presented and on 27 February the revised draft was approved. Now today, after 9 months, this bill is being presented again in the Lok Sabha.
'The Waqf Bill will shatter the dreams of political parties'
Meanwhile, Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha President Jitan Ram Manjhi has posted on Instagram and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Targeting the opposition, Manjhi said that the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025 will shatter the dreams of many political parties. The Union Minister said, "The parties which were till now inciting Muslims regarding the Waqf Bill, our government is going to give a befitting reply to them. The day the Waqf Amendment Bill is passed, every Muslim of the country will say that everything is possible if Modi is there. Thank you PM Modi, every section of the country is with you."
Opposition's plan fails, NDA allies with you
At the same time, let us tell you that the Waqf Amendment Bill is going to be passed in the Lok Sabha today. The entire plan of the opposition seems to be failing at the moment because before the bill is presented, the allies in the government have openly announced their support for it. There are 293 MPs of NDA and allies in support of the Waqf Amendment Bill. Only 239 MPs of other parties including the Indy alliance are against it. At the same time, 10 MPs including four MPs of Jagan's party are still in a state of suspense, they have not revealed their cards. The parties supporting the government have surprised the opposition by openly declaring their support for this bill.
