Jalmahal team became winner in tourism quiz, Hindola Mahal team stood second

Dhar, 28 July. Tourism Quiz 2023 was organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board on Thursday, 27th July at the district headquarters Dhar. Jalmahal Team-Talent Public Higher Secondary School Dhar secured first position in this competition. While Hindola Mahal team- Kendriya Vidyalaya Dhar secured the second position. Jahaz Mahal team, Shri CK Chandel Higher Secondary School team secured the third position. Asharfi Mahal team- Adarsh Vidya Mandir village Khachroda secured the fourth position. Chhappan Mahal team- Government Excellence Higher Secondary School Dhar secured the fifth position. While the sixth position was bagged by Rani Roopmati Mahal team-Government Higher Secondary School village Khalghat.
The winning teams were felicitated by national poet Sandeep Sharma, coordinator of INTACH Dhar, Dr. Dipendra Sharma. Under this, certificates, medals and coupons were distributed to the children. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department Manager Sandeep Vaghela was present in the program to encourage the children.
According to Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Bhopal, this year also Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2023 was organized on a large scale at JMD Palace, Dhar in collaboration with District Administration and District Archeology, Tourism and Culture Council. The information was given by Praveen Sharma, the nodal officer of the District Archaeology, Tourism and Culture Council. He informed that under the District Level Tourism Quiz-2023, written examination of pre-registered teams was organized between 8 am to 10 am. In the written test, six teams were selected for the multimedia quiz. This multimedia quiz lasted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. It was moderated by quiz master Praveen Sharma. The scorer was Shyam Sharma. In this, three children each from all six teams competed in 10 rounds. In this, the above results have been declared on the basis of better marks. This event took place in the presence of more than 700 children and teachers from private and government schools in Dhar. In the end prizes were awarded to the winners. Some exciting questions were also asked from the audience and they were rewarded. The winners have been provided with tour package gift vouchers to visit the tourist places of MP state. Volunteers of Vasudha Vikas Sansthan Dhar, an associate organization of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, provided their special support in this event. The organization is running various programs for the safety of women tourists in the district.
