The Collector held a meeting of Food, Civil Supplies, Millers and Warehouse Operators

Anuppur, Collector Mr. Harshal Pancholi held a meeting of Food Department, Civil Supplies Department, Millers and Warehouse Operators and directed that it is the collective responsibility of all to ensure that quality ration stock reaches the ration shop. Necessary action will be taken against those who show any kind of negligence and indifference in this. In the meeting, the Collector instructed the officials that officers should be put on duty to inspect the quality of ration kept in the district's warehouse from time to time and a report of quality should also be obtained. He instructed that if any kind of negligence is shown in the quality after inspection, then necessary punitive action should be ensured against the concerned.
District Supply Officer Mrs. Anita Sorte, Junior Supply Officer Mrs. Seema Sinha along with Civil Supplies Department officials and Millers and Warehouse Operators were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the Collector said that the ration distribution system should be made more simple and easy. He directed all the millers and warehouse operators to improve the ration stock system. In the meeting, the collector also obtained information from the warehouse operators regarding the old stock kept in the warehouse.
In the meeting, the collector directed the warehouse operators that if substandard ration is sent from the millers to the warehouse, then the administration should be informed about it immediately so that the substandard ration can be sent back to the millers and action can be taken to make it of good quality. During this, the collector was also informed about the allotment of new gunny bags by depositing the old gunny bags by the warehouse operators. In the meeting, the collector said that no compromise with the quality of ration will be tolerated. All the officers should collectively establish better coordination and ensure that quality ration is sent to the government fair price shop.
