Kishanganj, SSB jawans have foiled an infiltration attempt in the Indian border. The SSB posted on the Indo-Nepal border has arrested two Nepali citizens along with a Pakistani national while illegally entering the Indian border. All three had reached the border in a four-wheeler and were trying to enter the Indian border, when the SSB jawans caught them
The SSB jawans arrested the three while searching the water tank on the Indo-Nepal border in Khoribari block adjacent to Siliguri. During the routine check, when the security forces asked for their documents, two people showed Nepali documents while one had a Pakistani passport. After getting suspicious, the SSB arrested all three.
The Pakistani national has been identified as Saifullah Mohammed, a resident of Khobar Pakhtunba district of Pakistan. One of the arrested persons has been identified as Iqbal, while the other has been identified as Man Bahadur Thapa, resident of Bhojpur Kashi of Nepal and Megh Bahadur Mangar, resident of Udaipur. During investigation, SSB got information that the arrested Pakistani citizen works for a security agency in Dubai.
During interrogation, SSB got information that Nepali citizen Megh Bahadur was sent to work in the Nepali civil society. The tyre of his vehicle got punctured, he entered the Indian border to get it repaired. All the three foreign nationals did not have valid documents. After which SSB arrested all the three. Intelligence department has also started its investigation.
