Shahdol, In Beohari police station of the district, the police have registered a case of cheating against three people, including a police constable, and arrested them, SP Kumar Prateek said that in July last year, the vehicles seized by the police were auctioned. Taking advantage of this, the constable, along with two other accused, had asked people to get vehicles at a cheap price in the name of auctioning the seized vehicles, the three accused have cheated different people to the tune of Rs 40 lakh 60 thousand. Not only this, the accused had also made a fake notice of the auction, by showing which the fraud incident was being easily executed.

When the seized vehicles standing in the police station were not auctioned for a few days, the people who had paid for the vehicle reached the Beohari police station, where it was revealed that the vehicles which are parked in the police station premises are not to be auctioned. More than 5 people became victims of fraud, Constable Vishnu Bagri had shown vehicles parked in the police station and money was transacted in the account of accused Rohit Soni and his wife Sushma.. At present, the accused constable has been suspended in this case. All the three accused have been arrested and presented in the court.
