Panna, Lokayukta has taken action today in Panna, Panna. Devendra Prajapati, who was Patwari in Amanganj, had asked for a bribe of Rs 20,000 from Jagat Yadav for filing a report on the death of his family due to snakebite to get the benefit of government scheme, of which Rs 3,000 was already taken. He said that he had given a bribe of Rs. 7000 to the middleman Salig Ram Soni. The complainant gave the bribe amount to Salig Ram Soni and the Lokayukta team reached the spot in Amanggaj and took action. The Patwari lives in Panna. The Lokayukta police team reached Panna to arrest the Patwari. Patwari Devendra Prajapati was not found, after which Lokayukta took action against both middleman Salig Ram Soni and Patwari Devendra Prajapati in Kotwali Panna.
Even before this, Lokayukta had taken action against Devendra Prajapati in Rapura. He was caught taking bribe. The case is pending in the court.
