The case is from village Dharavasi of Lalabarra police station, accused husband is absconding, police is investigating.

Lalbarra, A case of husband killing his wife by attacking her head with an axe has come to light in Kali Tola of Gram Panchayat Dharavasi of Lalabarra police station. According to the information received from police station Lalabarra, the incident took place on the evening of 25th September. On receiving the information of the incident from the family members late in the evening, Lalabarra police reached Dharavasi, where the body of Madanlal Karsarpe's wife Mrs. Kavita Karsarpe was found soaked in blood. It is known that due to night, Lalabarra police could not take further action. Due to which the police kept guarding the house the whole night and at 12 noon on 26th September, Warasivani Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Abhishek Chaudhary, Lalabarra police station in-charge Hemant Nayak and FSL team inspected the crime scene thoroughly. Where the police found an axe soaked in blood. Since the woman had a serious wound on her head, it is suspected that the husband Madanlal Karasarpe killed his wife by attacking her with an axe and then absconded.
At present, after the proceedings at the scene from 12 noon to 1 pm on September 26, the police recovered the body and sent it to the Community Health Center Lalbarra for post-mortem. Where the post-mortem of the body was done by Medical Officer Dr. Shri Ritu Dhurve. And the body has been handed over to the family. Ganpat Thackeray, uncle of the deceased Kavita, told that the daughter has been murdered with an axe and the accused is absconding since the murder.
At the same time, Lalbarra police station in-charge Hemant Nayak gave information that on the evening of September 25, the police received information about the body of a woman lying in a house in Dharawasi. After which they reached the scene. Where on the basis of initial facts, a case of murder has been registered as it appears to be a murder. In which two police teams are engaged in search operation to search for the absconding accused husband.
It is said that Madanlal Karsarpe, a resident of Gram Panchayat Dharavasi, and his wife Kavita have a five-year-old son. When he returned home after school on the evening of 25 September, the door of the house was closed. When the door did not open despite calling, the people around called out, but the accused Madanlal was not opening it from inside. After which, the deceased's brother-in-law Ramkalesh Karsarpe removed the eaves of the roof of the kutcha house and looked inside, the deceased woman Kavita Karsarpe was lying in a bloody condition. Meanwhile, the accused husband Madanlal opened the back door and absconded. After which the Lalbarra police was informed about the incident. It is said that before the incident there was a dispute between the husband and wife. After which, in a fit of rage, Madanlal attacked his wife Kavita on the head with an axe kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. He sat near the body of his dead wife for a long time. When the sound of a child coming from school and opening the door started coming and the people of the locality came to know about it, he escaped from the back door. However, on the report of 25 year old applicant Smt. Shyamvati wife of Ramkalesh Karsarpe caste Gowari resident of village Dharavasi, Lalabarra police registered a case against the alleged accused Madanlal Karsarpe under Indian Penal Code 103(1) after registering a case and the case is being investigated by Lalabarra police station in-charge Hemant Nayak.

Today afternoon, the body of Smt. Kavita Karsarpe resident of village Dharavasi was brought to Community Health Center Lalabarra where I examined the body and dissected it. Prima facie and on the basis of short medical report, it has been found that the deceased has been attacked with a sharp weapon on her head and neck and the woman has died due to excessive bleeding.
