Heavy rain has been occurring in many districts of Bihar including the capital of Bihar, Patna, for the last 2 days. The weather is likely to remain the same today as well. According to the Meteorological Department, on September 16, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in three districts of South Bihar, while heavy rain is expected in two districts. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in all 19 districts of South Bihar.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain warning has been issued at some places in Rohtas, Kaimur and Aurangabad of Bihar, while an alert of heavy rain with lightning has been issued in Gaya, Nawada, Arwal. At the same time, monsoon will also be active in the capital Patna and its surrounding districts. According to SK Patel, scientist of the Meteorological Center located in Patna, monsoon will be very active in South Bihar today. There will be rain with thunder and lightning, as well as there is a strong possibility of lightning. In view of this danger, an orange alert has been issued.

Rain alert in these cities today

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a strong possibility of very heavy rain in Bhabua, Rohtas, Aurangabad of Bihar on September 16, while heavy rain is likely in Gaya and Nawada. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Buxar, Bhojpur, Patna, Arwal, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai and Begusarai.

The Meteorological Department appealed to be cautious

At the same time, moderate to heavy rain may occur at many places in Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka and Jamui. There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in all the 19 districts of North Bihar. Today, there is a high possibility of rain and lightning in South Bihar. In such a situation, people have been advised to be alert.
