Summer has started showing its fierce form in Bihar. Strong sunlight, heat waves have increased the trouble of people. The temperature has crossed 40°C. People are troubled by the heat like May-June in the month of March. The feeling of scorching heat has increased due to the westerly winds.

Bright sunlight since morning, strong winds are blowing like a storm as soon as it is afternoon. In such a situation, it is becoming difficult for people to even leave the house. The weather is feeling hot till late evening. The day temperature is also around 40°C in most of the districts. According to the forecast released by IMD, a slight decrease of one to two degrees Celsius in temperature can be seen today. But the effect of strong winds and sunlight will continue. The weather will remain hot.

According to the forecast, the weather of Bihar will remain hot today i.e. on March 29. With the maximum temperature of the state being 38-40°C (above normal), parts of Kaimur, Buxar, Bhojpur, Aurangabad, Rohtas, Gaya, Patna, Vaishali, Siwan, Saran, Nalanda, Nawada, Arwal, Jehanabad, Sheikhpura, Banka and Jamui districts are likely to experience severe heat. Westerly winds will blow in these districts. Due to this, there will also be a feeling of heat wave.

According to the forecast released by the IMD, a western disturbance is located in the form of a trough in the lower to upper tropospheric levels. A trough extends from Bihar to northeast Assam to sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. The effect of cyclonic circulation located between 1.5 to 3.1 km above sea level over northeast Assam and adjoining areas has reduced. Due to the combined effect of all these weather systems, the wind direction in the southern part will remain western. This will cause a feeling of heat wave.
