Indore, Police has arrested Arun Singh, the accused of robbing Punjab National Bank in Indore. During the search, only 45 thousand rupees were found with him. When the police interrogated him, it was revealed that he too had been robbed. He was so drunk that an e-rickshaw driver snatched the money from him.
Indore Police arrested Arun Singh from Etah in UP. He had reached his maternal uncle's house, and was found drunk on a farm. Police suspect that he distributed the looted money among relatives.
Indore. Arun Singh, the accused of robbing 6 lakh 64 thousand rupees from Punjab National Bank, was absconding after drinking alcohol. The accused fled from home with three lakh rupees, but the police found only 45 thousand rupees. Arun was drunk even when the police caught him. When the accused was going by e-rickshaw, the rickshaw puller also robbed him of some money. The team will bring him to Indore today. According to DCP Zone-2 Abhinay Vishwakarma, Arun Singh, resident of Kalua Tilpur, after robbing the bank, reached Jhabua Tower (Gwaltoli) and reached Agra by Sanjay Travels bus. From here also he went to the house of his sister Sushma Chauhan living in Shahra (Mainpuri) by bus.
The villagers had informed him that the police had come.
However, in the meantime, the accused came to know through internet media that the police was searching for him. Arun drank tea from Sushma's house and went to the farm. The villagers called him and informed him that the police had also come to Sushma's house. Arun Singh absconded after switching off his mobile.
He went to the farm after drinking alcohol and slept.
The police raided Shahra, Kalua, Farrukhabad, Mainpuri, Ubhai, Rui and Etah. The accused came to the house of his maternal uncle Baijnath Singh's son Rajesh in village Khiriya of Etah district. The accused drank alcohol here too and went to sleep in the field. When the police arrived, he was found drunk.
He kept fooling the police
After robbing the bank in Indore, he reached Agra by bus.
After Agra, he reached his sister Sushma's house in Mainpuri.
When the police reached his sister's house, he ran away and reached his maternal uncle's house in Etah.
When the police reached there, he was found drunk in the field.
He is misleading the police
Only 45 thousand rupees were found with Arun Singh. He is misleading the police. According to ACP Krishnalal Chandani, the accused's brother-in-law is ill, he undergoes dialysis. Therefore, money was needed for his treatment as well.
He had come to Indore after being dismissed from the army
Arun Singh told during interrogation that he had joined the Rajput Regiment (Fatehgarh) in 1996. He left the job in between and joined the Bihar Regiment (Jammu) in 1999. After being dismissed in the year 2006, the accused came to Indore with his children.
