According to the Meteorological Department, on the night of June 20, monsoon will knock in Purnia, Bihar via West Bengal. With the entry of monsoon, there will be heavy rain in Seemanchal area in the next three to four days.

IMD scientist Dr. Naresh Kumar said, "Yesterday we had issued a red alert for Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, but today the situation has improved. There has been rain activity in Bihar." According to the Patma Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 10 districts in the next four days (June 20 - June 24). Strong storms will also blow at many places, many cities will remain cloudy and there is also a possibility of thunderstorms. According to the Meteorological Department, the districts where rain is expected include Begusarai, Khagaria, Purnia, Katihar, Madhepura, Saharsa, Kishanganj, Araria and Supaul, which may receive heavy rain. In the last 24 hours, it has been raining intermittently in Araria, Kishanganj and Supaul of Seemanchal. Kishanganj district has received the highest rainfall.
