Case registered against Gondwana Gantantra Party candidate of Jabera Assembly for violation of code of conduct in two police stations

Damoh, A case has been registered against Vinod Rai, who is contesting elections from Jabera assembly by rebelling against BJP. The district administration and police administration seem fully prepared to conduct the assembly elections in Damoh district peacefully. Action is being taken against those who violate the rules of the code of conduct.
In the same sequence, a case has been registered in two police stations against Vinod Rai, candidate of Gondwana Gantantra Party from Jabera Assembly of the district, for violating the code of conduct. Gondwana Republic Party candidate Vinod Rai has violated Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 and Model Code of Conduct by gathering a large number of people without permission, hence a crime under Section 188 has been registered against him. Similarly, in Jabera assembly constituency, a nomination rally was taken out by Rai from his village Bamhori Mala towards Damoh via Jabera Nohta, in which about 200 four-wheelers and 1500 to 2500 people were involved. By Vinod Rai, due permission has not been obtained for the current Assembly General Election 2023 despite the code of conduct being in force. There has been a gathering of people without permission and vehicles have been used without permission, hence criminal charges have been filed against them under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code 1860.
The case was registered in Jabera and Damoh Dehat police stations and taken up for investigation.
