Meanwhile, while taking selfie, a girl's foot slipped and she fell in the river. To save the girl, a young man also jumped in the river and both drowned. After a lot of effort, Rohan's body was taken out of the river.

According to the information, Shreya Suresh Gawade, age 17 years and Rohan Gyaneshwar Dhombre, age 22 years, lost their lives in this accident. Both the students along with their other friends had come to visit the banks of Indrayani river in Kundmala Maval area in the morning. While taking selfie, Shreya's foot slipped and she fell in the river water, then Rohan also moved forward to save her and within no time, both of them drowned in the surging water of this river.

Rescue team searching for Shreya's body

After Shreya and Rohan drowned, the local people informed the police administration and the rescue team about this accident. After this, the rescue team found Rohan's body from the water after a lot of hard work, which has now been sent to the government hospital for postmortem, while Shreya's body has not been found by the rescue team yet, whose search is still going on.

Friends shocked

Shreya was studying in class 11 in a private college in Pune, while Rohan, the only son of the Dhombare family, was also studying the first year of engineering from a private college. Shreya and Rohan's friends are in shock after this accident. Both of them had come to roam with them and were having fun together. It is difficult for them to forget the sight of their friends drowning in front of their eyes. On the other hand, Talegaon police is investigating further in this matter.
