Motihari, Motihari police has arrested the leader of the interstate dacoit gang along with the finance employee who played the role of liner. Police has arrested Bettiah gang leader Appu Yadav, who looted about 8 lakhs by taking a finance employee hostage in Harsiddhi and looted 5 lakhs from a finance employee in Chiraiya, on the basis of CCTV footage and scientific research.

SP Kantesh Mishra said that Appu Yadav, a resident of Bettiah and involved in 14 cases, is a wanted criminal. He had looted 8 lakhs at gunpoint in Harsiddhi in connivance with the finance employee, he has been arrested. 1 lakh 45 thousand cash and country-made pistol, bullets and two motorcycles used in the robbery have also been seized from the arrested criminal.

Let us tell you that only last month, about eight lakh rupees were looted at gunpoint from the office of Spandana Sphoorti Finance Limited. A team was formed under the leadership of SP DSP Ranjan Kumar and the criminal was arrested on the basis of scientific and technical evidence. The arrested criminal Pappu Yadav has been the main accused of robbery, dacoity and snatching in Bettiah, Motihari and Bagaha.
