However, he has not yet clarified whether he will contest in the upcoming assembly elections or not. Ganesh Rao has been the president of Kaimor Municipal Council twice. For the first time he was an independent from 2004 to 2009 and for the second time from BJP from 2014 to 2019. Ganesh Rao's image has been as a labor leader since the beginning. Even today he is the President of the Cement and Mines Employees Union. Before resigning, he was a member of the District Executive in BJP. After resigning from BJP, there is talk of Ganesh Rao joining Congress, there is even talk that he can contest elections from Congress.
