Damoh, along with former Finance Minister and Damoh MLA Jayant Malaiya, appeared in the Madhya Pradesh MLA Court, Jabalpur and got bail in the case registered against the protest against power cuts in the Congress government.
Jayant Malaiya said that during the Kamal Nath government, the public was troubled by the unannounced power cuts, hence, keeping in mind the public interest, a protest was held by submitting a memorandum to the Electricity Department. He has appeared before the Honorable Court in connection with the same issue.

A case was registered by the government against BJP workers for raising their voice in the interest of the general public.
Today all those workers reached Jabalpur under the leadership of Jayant Malaiya and got bail in this case.
