Sitamarhi, the foundation of the bridge fell in the flood in Sitamarhi due to which the connection of many villages with the headquarters has been broken. At the same time, the movement of vehicles is also getting affected. The incident took place near the Durga temple on the main road from Purandaha Rajbara to Dalkawa Narkatiya Indarwa. Where the middle pillar of the bridge built on the Banke river of Adhawara group fell due to the strong flow of water.

The villagers told that the block headquarters is the main road to Sonbarsa and due to the collapse of the foundation, there is no problem in the movement of vehicles like tempos, but if suddenly someone takes a big vehicle without information, then big incidents can happen. On the other hand, the broken diversion near Bastpur village remained closed for the seventh day.

Common people are facing problems in buying essential goods. At the same time, the education of children has also been disrupted. People are forced to go to the block headquarters by bearing difficulties somehow. BDO Satyendra Kumar Yadav said that information has been received about the collapse of the foundation of the bridge on the road from Purandaha Rajbada village to Dalkawa and the senior district official has been informed about the same.
