Chhatarpur, In order to provide benefits to all the eligible beneficiaries of the central schemes and to make the common people aware of the development achieved in the country through innovative schemes, Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been started in Chhatarpur district as well as in the state. This yatra will pass through urban and rural areas and will benefit the beneficiaries deprived of central schemes. On Sunday, four chariots of the Bharat Sankalp Yatra developed from the Collectorate office were flagged off by public representatives and administrative officials along with the route and vehicle in-charge to different blocks. During this, District Panchayat President Mrs. Vidya Agnihotri, MLA Rajnagar Arvind Pateria, Collector Sandeep G.R., Municipality President Mrs. Jyoti Chaurasia, ACEO Chandrasen Singh, Malkhan Singh, Monu Yadav and other public representatives and officials were present.

Collector Sandeep G.R. Necessary guidelines have been given to the officials of the concerned departments. Besides, nodal officers and teams have been formed at Panchayat and city level.

At the venue of the program, it will be ensured that all the designated departments will ensure the presence of the beneficiaries and the general public at their respective levels and in the program, schemes related to pension schemes, health fair, animal health fair, Ayushman Bharat Card, agriculture related etc. will be included. Stalls, stalls of self-help groups, stalls of banking sector, stalls related to tribal development department will be set up.

It is noteworthy that the Central Government, in collaboration with the State Governments and Union Territories, is continuously making efforts to ensure that the benefits of the Central Schemes reach every eligible beneficiary. Sankalp Yatra is being organized to ensure 100% coverage of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, Extended Gram Swaraj Abhiyan and major schemes.

Besides, schemes related to the welfare of tribal families include Sickle Cell Anemia Prevention Mission, admission in Eklavya Model Residential Schools, scholarship, forest rights, Van-Dhan Vikas Kendra.
