Samastipur, Before the Bihar elections, the Railways has given a big gift to the people of Bihar. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, who was kind on his Bihar tour, has announced new trains to facilitate the people of the state, including four Amrit Bharat Express trains. Ashwini Vaishnav, who reached Bihar, conducted a surprise inspection of several stations including Patna, Sonpur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur and reviewed the progress of station redevelopment schemes and directed the officials to expedite the work.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Monday that Rs 10,000 crore has been sanctioned in this year's Union Budget to strengthen rail infrastructure in Bihar. Speaking at the 'Bhoomi Pujan' ceremony for a new level crossing gate near Karpuri Gram railway station in Samastipur district, the minister also inaugurated several advanced passenger amenities at the station. The minister also announced that Karpuri Gram railway station will now come under Samastipur railway division. Earlier it was under the jurisdiction of Sonpur railway division.

-2 new Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) are ready for Bihar, they will be inaugurated very soon.
-STPI Patna, Patliputra (new building) which will cost around ₹53 crore.

-STPI Darbhanga which will cost around ₹10 crore.
