Indore: Fire in a moving train in Madhya Pradesh has caused commotion. The situation became such that passengers had to save their lives by jumping off the train. This train was coming from Indore to Ratlam. This incident of fire in the engine of the DEMU train took place between Runija and Pritam Nagar.

There was no way for the fire brigade to reach the spot. Local people and railway employees were busy controlling the fire at the spot. Local farmers helped in extinguishing the fire using their motor pumps and pipes and the fire was controlled due to their promptness.

After the incident, an alternate engine was used to bring the train to Ratlam. The railway administration has ordered an inquiry.

According to the information received, when the train going from Mumbai to Gorakhpur reached the platform, there was a stampede in the hurry to board the train, due to which about 10 passengers were injured.

The injured passengers were admitted to the hospital in a hurry. Actually, every year crowd is seen in Indian Railways trains during Diwali and Chhath. People from different cities of the country go to UP-Bihar to celebrate festivals. Meanwhile, this accident has happened due to excessive crowd.

At the same time, after the accident at Bandra Terminus, the railway has said that the weekly train Bandra-Gorakhpur Express was re-scheduled. This train was scheduled to leave at 5:10 am. After re-scheduling, the train arrived late on the platform this morning. The train arrived around 3 to 3.30 in the night. Due to heavy crowd at the station, there was a stampede to board the general bogie. According to Disaster, 9 people were injured, but the railways have confirmed that a total of 10 people are injured. Some people have fractures in their legs, some have fractures in their waist. Two injured have been discharged, the rest are admitted in Bhabha Hospital. The train finally left at 5:10 am, the situation is calm.
