Patna, On the occasion of World Heritage Day (April 18), the Department of Art, Culture and Youth is organizing a state-level essay writing and logo design competition. The objective of this competition is to connect the youth with the cultural heritage of Bihar and give a platform to their creative expression.

Who can participate in the competition?

Students from class nine to graduation level can participate in the essay writing competition. Whereas only students from class nine to 12 can participate in the logo design competition.

Rules and topics of essay writing competition

Participants have to send their essay in PDF format to the email ID heritageofbihar@gmail.com. The last date for this has been fixed as April 12. The essay can be written only in Hindi language and the maximum word limit has been kept at 700 words. Two topics have been fixed for the competition, which include cultural heritage of Bihar and heritage of originality in ancient architecture.

Logo Design Competition Rules and Theme

Students participating in the logo design competition can send their entries in JPG or PDF format by April 14. The theme of this competition is 'Heritage and its Conservation', which will focus on showing the importance of Bihar's historical heritage and the need for their conservation.

The first, second and third place winners for the best essay and logo design in the competition will be honored in a special ceremony. The prize distribution will be done on the occasion of World Heritage Day on April 18. Through this competition, the youth of Bihar will get a golden opportunity to show their creativity and understand the historical heritage of the state.
