There is a big news for 16 lakh electricity consumers of Patna, Bihar. Electricity recharge portal has started working once again in Bihar. Electricity consumers of Bihar, who have been facing problems for the last few days, have got relief after about two weeks. Due to technical fault from 2 May to 15 May, the electricity meter was not able to deduct the amount on the basis of energy consumption. The technical problem has been fixed on Friday.

After the technical fault is removed, the balance of many consumers has come negative. The company has said that by Friday evening the balance of all consumers will be adjusted on the basis of energy consumption. The electricity company has given huge relief to the consumers regarding the problems caused by the disturbance.

It has been decided to cut off the power supply of consumers with negative balance from 11:00 am on Monday. The electricity company has asked the consumers with negative balance to recharge their prepaid meter to keep the electricity connection running again, otherwise their electricity will be cut off.

There are 16 lakh prepaid meter electricity consumers in Bihar. Due to technical problem, these consumers had to face a lot of trouble. Now the electricity company has sent a message to the customers asking them to make the payment. There are more than 5 lakh smart meter consumers in the capital Patna and about 16 lakh prepaid meter consumers in the whole of Bihar. Finally, a big relief has been given to the customers of smart prepaid meter by the electricity department.
