The deceased is Jyoti Kumari, 25-year-old wife of Indrajit Kumar, resident of Dhundhuan village of Mufassil police station area.

People became angry after the death of the woman. They blocked the road by placing the body near the private hospital located in Mahavir Tola, demanding the arrest of the doctor and compensation. The jam lasted for about one and a half hours.

On receiving the information, Inspector Mohammad Sharafuddin and lady inspector Khushboo Kumari working in Nawada police station reached there with the police force. The jam was removed by convincing the family and local people. The police got the postmortem of the body done in Sadar Hospital. The case is of a private hospital located in Mahavir Tola of Nawada police station area.

The deceased's husband Indrajit Kumar said that his wife Jyoti Kumari was pregnant. On the morning of 26 October, when she was going to defecate, she fell in the house. She started having severe pain in her stomach. She was taken to a rural doctor named Mahesh from the village.

He said that I will take you to a private hospital located in Mahavir Tola. Everything will be fine there. On 28 October, he brought her to a private hospital located in Mahavir Tola. Where the doctor said that the baby in the womb has been damaged.

Your wife will have to undergo abortion. During abortion, her small intestine and uterus were cut. Due to which the woman's condition became very critical. The doctor admitted her to a private hospital located in Dhanupra and said that I will bear the entire expense. After this, the doctor ran away from there.

The family brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment. From where, after giving first aid, seeing her condition as worrisome, she was referred to Patna. But due to not being in a good financial condition, the family was getting her treated in the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital. Where she died on Monday afternoon after 14 days of treatment.

The deceased's husband Indrajit Kumar has demanded the arrest of rural doctor Mahesh and doctor Sushil Paswan of the private hospital located in Mahavir Tola and compensation. Apart from this, he has also accused the police of negligence in work. It is said that the deceased has a one-year-old daughter Saumya.
