In the program, MP Shri Lodhi said that farmers should do natural farming to maintain health, environment and soil fertility. He said that by preparing Jeevamrit and Ghan Jeevamrit from the dung and cow urine of a native cow, up to 30 acres of natural farming can be done with one native cow, in which there is no effect on production, cost is also less, the products are of high quality and are full of nutrition, due to which our health, the health of the soil and the health of the environment also remains good. He said that the minikits being distributed are of improved variety of seeds which should be used by farmers to replace traditional seeds. Also, MP Shri Lodhi informed the farmers about the use of drones.
In the program, Deputy Director Agriculture JL Prajapati said that instead of DAP, farmers can use fertilizers like Nano DAP NPK 20-20-0-13, 12:32:16, 16:16:16 etc. DAP is used for seed treatment at the rate of 5 ml Nano DAP per kg of seed. Thus, one bottle of Nano DAP is sufficient for the treatment of 100 kg of seeds and for better results, by spraying one bottle per acre after 35 days in the standing crop at the rate of 5 ml per liter of water, good crop can be produced without using traditional granular DAP. He told when and how soil sample should be taken and gave detailed information about soil testing.
In the program, Dr. Manoj Kumar Ahirwar, Head and Senior Scientist of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, gave information to the farmers on contemporary topics. He answered the questions related to agriculture of the farmers and gave detailed information about the use of pesticides, weedicides and nano fertilizers through drones.
