Jahui, DM Rakesh Kumar took a big action regarding the continuous complaints of corruption in Barhat block office of Jamui. On Monday afternoon, he suddenly reached Barhat block for investigation. After the sudden arrival of DM in Barhat block office, there was a stir among the employees.

DM Rakesh Kumar himself started interrogating the applicant present in the block office. During this, DM Rakesh Kumar reached Biswan office, where work is done under birth certificate, death certificate and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. During this, a person complained to the DM that one and a half thousand rupees are being demanded for correction in birth certificate and Aadhar card. Another youth also complained that data operator Santosh Yadav is demanding seven hundred rupees in return for the work.

On receiving the complaint, DM Biswan reached the office and got the pocket of the employee searched. During this, when Santosh Yadav's pocket was searched, 5000 rupees cash was recovered from his pocket in different packets, which was bribe money. After this, the District Magistrate has ordered the Barhat BDO to investigate the matter and register an FIR against the employee and send him to jail. The DM said that the pace of making Ayushman cards in Barhat block is slow, it has been asked to improve it.
The DM said that complaints were being received that illegal money is being taken from the poor people on demand for birth certificate or other certificates at the cash counter here. Regarding which a surprise inspection was done suddenly, where the villagers alleged that seven hundred rupees are being taken for making a birth certificate at Biswan office. During this, the pocket of the employee was searched on the spot, from whom five thousand rupees were found. The DM said that someone had called him and informed him about illegal extortion.
