Damoh, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar reached Vanshipur village of Jabera at 6:30 am. He observed the ancient monastery built on the mountain and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials to preserve it. After this, Collector Kochar reached the edge of a hill near Vanshipur village where a strong dam of stones was built many years ago. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that thousands of stones of the same size visible here from a distance are the wonder of old technology where a dam was built on the river bank, it was good to come here, Damoh district is very rich in terms of archeology and tourism, efforts will continue to bring it on the tourism map.

During this, Collector Kochar also met the villagers and listened to their problems, gave instructions to the officials for smooth arrangement of electricity and road. Also, he expressed displeasure over wastage of water and directed for proper arrangement of toilets and public awareness. After this, Shri Kochhar reached Anganwadi centre and after seeing the daily register, posters, took information about students and food.

He also directed for improvement in the village school and other places. Thereafter, Kochhar reached Anganwadi centre of Tanwari. Where he expressed displeasure over low number of children and incomplete information in the register and gave necessary instructions to the officials.

During his visit, Collector Shri Kochhar reached the primary school of Maili near Kalehra. Where he spent time with small children, asked them about their studies and also got photographs taken, the children also answered the questions asked by the Collector.
