The High Court has severely reprimanded Cabinet Minister Vijay Shah in the Madhya Pradesh government for giving a controversial statement on Colonel Sofia Qureshi. It has been instructed that an FIR should be registered against him within 4 hours. Actually, in a program, without naming Colonel Sofia, Vijay Shah gave such a statement due to which he got badly surrounded, even the Congress demanded action against him.

What did Vijay Shah say?

कर्नल सोफिया कुरैशी पर विवादित बयान देने पर हाई कोर्ट ने मध्य प्रदेश सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री विजय शाह को जमकर फटकार लगाई है। निर्देश दिया गया है कि उनके खिलाफ 4 घंटे के अंदर में FIR दर्ज होनी चाहिए। असल में एक कार्यक्रम में बिना कर्नल सोफिया का नाम लिए विजय शाह ने एक ऐसा बयान दिया जिस वजह से वे बुरी तरह घिर गए, कांग्रेस तक ने उनके खिलाफ एक्शन की मांग की।

विजय शाह ने क्या बोला था?
जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि विजय शाह ने कहा था कि जिन्होंने हमारी बेटियों के सिंदूर उजाड़े थे, उन्हीं कटे-पिटे लोगों को उन्हीं की बहन भेजकर उनकी ऐसी-तैसी करवाई। उन्होंने कपड़े उतार-उतार कर हमारे हिन्दुओं को मारा और मोदी जी ने उनकी बहन को उनकी ऐसी-तैसी करने के लिए हमारे जहाज से उनके घर भेजा। अब उन्होंने बिना नाम लिए कर्नल सोफिया के धर्म को लेकर टिप्पणी की, ऐसे में सोशल मीडिया पर उन्हें जमकर ट्रोल किया गया।

हाई कोर्ट ने क्या कहा?
अब हाई कोर्ट ने इस मामले का स्वतः संज्ञान लिया और विजय शाह को जमकर फटकार लगाई। हाईकोर्ट में जस्टिस अतुल श्रीधरन की डिवीजन बेंच ने दो टूक कहा कि 4 घंटे के अंदर में उनके खिलाफ FIR दर्ज हो, इस मामले में अगली सुनवाई कल यानी कि गुरुवार को होने वाली है। वैसे इस विवादित बयान के लिए विजय शाह ने खुद माफी मांग ली है, यहां तक बोला है कि इसे अलग संदर्भ में ना देखा जाए क्योंकि ‘हमारी बहनों’ ने बहुत ताकत से सेना के साथ मिलकर पहलगाम हमले का बदला लिया है।

कांग्रेस ने साधा निशाना
लेकिन कांग्रेस ने इस विवाद को पकड़ते हुए सीधे-सीधे विजय शाह का इस्तीफा मांग लिया है। कांग्रेस की मध्यप्रदेश यूनिट के अध्यक्ष जीतू पटवारी ने ‘X’ पर विजय शाह के वीडियो को शेयर करते हुए सवाल किया कि भाजपा तुरंत यह बताए कि क्या विजय शाह की ‘घटिया सोच’ से वह सहमत है? उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव से विजय शाह की टिप्पणी पर जवाब और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से उनका इस्तीफा मांगा।

What did the High Court say?

Now the High Court has taken suo motu cognizance of this matter and reprimanded Vijay Shah. The division bench of Justice Atul Shridharan in the High Court said that an FIR should be registered against him within 4 hours, the next hearing in this matter is going to be held tomorrow i.e. on Thursday. However, Vijay Shah himself has apologized for this controversial statement, he has even said that it should not be seen in a different context because 'our sisters' have avenged the Pahalgam attack with great strength along with the army.

Congress took aim

But Congress, catching hold of this controversy, has directly demanded Vijay Shah's resignation. Congress' Madhya Pradesh unit president Jeetu Patwari, while sharing Vijay Shah's video on 'X', asked that BJP should immediately tell whether it agrees with Vijay Shah's 'low thinking'? He demanded an answer from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Vijay Shah's comment and his resignation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
