According to meteorologists, a new system is becoming active in the western Himalayan region from March 9, due to which there is a possibility of further increase in day and night temperatures.

On Friday, the day temperature in Indore was recorded at 32.6 degrees Celsius and the night temperature was 13 degrees Celsius. During this time there was bright sunshine throughout the day and winds blew at a speed of 19 km per hour. A sharp jump in temperature was seen on Saturday. On Saturday, the day temperature was 33.8 degrees and it increased by 1.2 degrees and at night it was 16.4 degrees and it increased by 3.4 degrees.

No chance of rain now

At present the day and night temperatures are at normal levels. According to the Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance may become active in the Western Himalayan region from March 9. Due to the effect of this system, a mild effect may be seen in many parts of Madhya Pradesh after two days. However, there is no possibility of rain during this time.

The effect of heat will intensify
Today, the day temperature in Indore may increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, and a slight increase can also be seen on March 9. The effect of heat in Indore starts intensifying from the month of March itself. The maximum day temperature here has reached 41.1 degrees Celsius, which was recorded on March 28, 1892. At the same time, the night temperature fell to 5 degrees Celsius on March 4, 1898. The record of about one inch of rain in 24 hours is also recorded in Indore, while a total of two inches of rain has fallen in the entire month of March. According to the Meteorological Department, it usually rains for 2 to 3 days in March. Sometimes dust storms can also occur during this time.
