Gwalior, Today in Gwalior, hundreds of Congressmen led by Congress State General Secretary Sunil Sharma, carrying pictures, swung the effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah at Urvai Gate crossing with the police in protest against the remarks made by Home Minister Amit Shah in the Parliament regarding Bharat Ratna Constitution maker Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Amidst jostling and altercation, the effigy was raised with the slogan 'Hindustan will not tolerate insult to Ambedkar'. Congress State General Secretary Sunil Sharma told the media that Amit Shah's statement is very hurtful. Amit Shah's statement reflects BJP's anti-Dalit, backward, minority and poor mentality. He said that every leader of BJP talks about erasing the Constitution. He said that Amit Shah should apologize and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi should dismiss him from his post. If BJP does not do so, then the ideology of Narendra Modi and BJP will become clear to the country. He said that Baba Saheb was not only the Constitution maker but also a freedom fighter who fought for India's independence. He said that insulting the martyrs has become the destiny of BJP. He said that the Congress party will not tolerate the insult of Baba Saheb. We will continue to struggle on the streets and when the time comes, the people of India will definitely take revenge for this insult from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
