Damoh, Under the instructions given by the Election Commission of India, today Collector and District Election Officer Mayank Aggarwal discussed with the print and electronic media persons of the district regarding the assembly elections in the meeting room of the Collector's office. All the inter-district and inter-state road blocks are closed. There is also a ban on loud speakers. Distribution of voting material will start from 16th November, some polling parties will arrive on 15th November and arrangements have been made at four places for their stay. Material distribution and return will be done in Government Polytechnic College. 52 counters have been made for material distribution, 1549 tables and 5374 chairs have been arranged at these counters.

He told that this time webcasting facility has been made in 60 percent booths which will be monitored from the control room, this control room has been made assembly wise in the college of Barpati. Almost all preparations for voting have been completed. Voting time will be from 07 am to 06 pm. At the district level, the Voter Assistance Center is established in the toll free 1950 Collectorate office.

Superintendent of Police Sunil Tiwari said that there are 1168 polling stations, complete action has been taken for their security arrangements. 134 Police Sector Mobiles and 134 Magistrate Sector Mobiles have been formed, which will jointly visit the allotted booths and resolve whatever problems arise there. 12 companies have come from outside. Blockade has been started, force has been deployed at all the checkpoints, vehicles are being checked there. In this way all arrangements have been ensured. On this occasion, the questions asked by the media were resolved.

1168 polling stations have been made in the district in which there are 9 lakh 67 thousand 344 voters, the number of male voters is 5 lakh 02 thousand 586 and the number of female voters is 4 lakh 64 thousand 746, along with this there are 12 other voters also. 286 polling stations have been made in Assembly Constituency 54-Patharia, 284 in Assembly Constituency 55-Damoh, 295 in Assembly Constituency 56-Jabera and 303 polling stations have been made in Assembly Constituency 57-Hata (SC). The Election Commission of India has approved 12 other documents for voters to use as alternative identity cards to enable maximum voting. Arrangements for 269 vehicles have been made to take the polling parties to the destination polling stations.

Similarly, in assembly constituency 54-Patharia, a total of 237155 voters including 124246 male, 112905 female and 04 other voters, in 55-Damoh, a total of 245669 voters including 126503 male, 119159 female and 07 other voters, in 56- Jabera, 124009 male, 115251 female and There are total 239261 voters including 01 other voter and total 245259 voters including 127828 male and 117431 female voters in 57-Hata.

Assembly constituency wise, 60 women management polling centers have been created in the district, 05 PWD polling centers (accessible), 63 model polling centers, 425 mixed (male + female) polling centers and 04 youth polling centers have been created.

At 1168 polling stations in the district, provision of ramps at the booths has been ensured for disabled voters, arrangements for facilities at the polling stations through Saksham app, proper arrangement of drinking water, electricity facilities, furniture and toilets at each booth. Arrangements have also been ensured. Arrangements for separate toilets for men and women have been made at every polling place and Voter Facilitation Centers have been made at all polling stations.

He said that in the Assembly elections 2023, a total of 1217 voters, including PWD voters and those above 80 years of age (PWD 204 and 80 + 1013), have been made to vote at their place of residence.
