Patna, CM Nitish Kumar gave a great gift and new facility to the people of Bihar. On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, CM Nitish Kumar started Highway Patrol Bihar 112 in Patna. The Chief Minister flagged off the vehicles from his official residence. These vehicles have been provided for 38 districts of the state.

This vehicle has facilities like speed gun stretcher, even during accidents on the highway, the vehicle will help in first aid to the passengers. Over speeding vehicles will also be fined with the speed gun.

On the launch of the highway patrol vehicle, DGP Alok Raj said that along with patrolling on the highway, people will also be given facilities. People who break the rules by driving high speed vehicles will also be fined with this vehicle. This vehicle will provide all the facilities, security and service to the people.

He said that police force has been deployed on a large scale for Diwali and Chhath. Along with the police, CCTV cameras will also keep an eye on the people. The police administration will keep a special watch on social media.
DGP Alok Raj said that celebratory firing will not be tolerated under any circumstances, strict action will be taken against anyone who indulges in celebratory firing. He said that strict action will be taken if celebratory firing takes place during idol immersion or Diwali. The schedule of idol immersion in Durga Puja has been implemented in Lakshmi Puja idol immersion. During idol immersion, every idol will be escorted by the police.
