A masked miscreant attacked the house of prominent cement businessman Saurav Agarwal, located in Chaukhandi Mohalla of Bihar police station area, on Thursday afternoon. The criminals held his wife Shreya Agarwal, who was alone in the house, hostage at knife point and fled after looting property worth about Rs 15 lakh. The victim told that she was busy on mobile phone in her house in the afternoon. Meanwhile, a masked miscreant suddenly appeared in front of her and held her hostage at knife point. On protesting, the accused beat her up and threatened to kill her. After that, he kept looting and then easily escaped from there. On protesting, the woman was attacked with a knife and beaten up and also molested. The young man entered the house alone, to hide his identity, the miscreant had covered his face with a monkey cap and was wearing black glasses. The miscreant entered the house using the roof of another person's house and took the woman alone in the house into custody at knife point. After that, he kept looting for 15 minutes and then escaped from there comfortably. Regarding the incident, the wife of the victim Santosh Agarwal told that the family members do cement business. They had gone to the shop in the morning. The wife was alone at home. During that time, he suddenly entered the room of the woman who was using mobile from the roof of the house and looted. After the miscreant ran away after looting, the victim woman informed about the incident. The businessman who reached after getting the information informed Dial 112 about the incident. On whose indication, the police has reached the spot and started investigating the case. Also, they are trying to reach the miscreant through the CCTV footage installed nearby.
