In Nawada, villagers attacked the CBI and local police team. They attacked the investigation team calling it fake. The driver of the CBI team was badly beaten up. The incident took place in Murhena-Kasiyadih of Rajauli police station area of ​​the district. An FIR has been lodged in this regard at Rajauli police station, in which 08 people have been named. 150-200 people have been made non-primary accused. Police have arrested four accused. On Saturday at around 4 pm, the CBI team was returning with the Nawada police force after searching the house of Phoolchand Prasad and his wife Babita Devi, residents of Murhena's Kasiyadih village. During this time, a crowd of family members and about 200-300 people gathered. The CBI team, who were in civil dress, was surrounded calling them fake. The CBI officers also showed their identity cards. Female constable Kajal Kumari of Nawada Nagar police station also tried to explain. But the people in the crowd did not listen to them and started misbehaving. The CBI team informed the police of Rajauli police station about this. The situation became normal after the police force arrived from Rajauli police station. In this attack, the driver of the CBI team, Sanjay Soni, got injured, while the shirt of an officer got torn. The female constable was abused by ward member Mithlesh Prasad of ward number 16 of Murhena Panchayat. The CBI officers were also abused. It is being told that the CBI team had reached in search of a girl from Kasiyadih on the information given by a youth arrested in the UGC NET paper leak case. During the raid, the CBI team recovered two mobile phones along with some bank passbooks and some documents related to UGC NET and took them with them. However, Nawada police has told that the CBI team has seized two mobile phones and taken them with them.
