Katni, A bus carrying wedding guests went out of control and overturned on Katni Kanhwara Road under Kuthla police station area of ​​Katni at around 5 am on Monday. Out of about 60 baratis travelling in the bus full of wedding guests, 30 baratis were injured. The injured also include 22 women and a child. The condition of half a dozen baratis is said to be critical. As soon as the information about the incident was received, without wasting any time, the Kuthla police station in-charge and his team reached the spot and immediately sent all the injured to the district hospital and got the bus removed to one side.

Giving information regarding the incident, Additional SP Santosh Daheria said that yesterday on November 10, 2024, a youth named Shahrukh Chauhan, son of Sammu Chauhan of Katangi, was married to Zihara, daughter of Idrish Qureshi, a resident of Kaimor. Whose marriage party was returning after the marriage. While returning, at around 5 am, it was reported that a bus has overturned on the road going from Lamtara Bridge towards Kanhwara village. As soon as the information of the incident was received, all the top officials of Katni police became active and they directed the station in-charge Abhishek Choubey and his team to take immediate action on this incident. When Kuthla station in-charge Abhishek Choubey and his team reached the spot, they saw that the bus of Buniyaad Travels number MP 20 ZL 7773 was overturned on the road, the injured were lying on the road. Kuthla police showed sensitivity and immediately took the injured to the hospital with the help of 108 police station mobile and hundred dial. Police force and hospital team were alerted for the treatment of the injured. The bus has been moved to one side through a crane so that the common road is not obstructed. Giving information, Additional SP Santosh Daheria said that the victim of the accident was a marriage party bus which was going from Kaimor to Katangi. On the way, the driver and the cleaner had an argument over something, due to which the driver's attention was diverted and the bus went out of control, which led to this accident. This accident happened. Both the bride and the groom were in a separate vehicle and they are safe, while other baraatis have been injured. There were about 50 to 60 people in the bus, out of which about 30 people have been injured. But there are about 5-6 people who have been seriously injured. The driver fled from the spot. Kuthla police have registered the case and investigation is being taken up. The injured include 22 women and a five-year-old child.
