Shahdol, in village Medhaki adjacent to the divisional headquarters, two sons of a police officer along with their companions entered the house of a farmer and beat up the farmer and his family members late at night. According to the information received, the accused were drunk. Also, a video of the car in which they went to commit this crime is going viral on social media. In which liquor bottles are seen kept. The father of the said accused Mahendra Singh is currently posted as CSP in Satna district. Whereas earlier he has been the in-charge of Budhar police station of Shahdol district. His house is built in Shahdol itself. Somewhere it is the influence of this fact that they entered the house late at night and committed the crime. According to the information received in this regard, Shahbaz Khan, 27 years, son of Lallan Khan, resident of village Medhaki, Pali police station, adjacent to the divisional headquarters, lodged a complaint in the police station with his family members and said that Vatan Pratap Singh, Monu Singh alias Brijendra Pratap Singh, both sons of Mahendra Singh, along with their friend Golu Burman, resident of Shahdol, came to my house last night at around 1.30 am and knocked on the door. After which I and my wife woke up and opened the door. As soon as I came out, I saw that the said accused started abusing and beating me, saying that they had to give money. After which my wife and father tried to intervene, but they were also beaten and pushed. Somehow my brother and other family members reached there after hearing our screams and intervened. After the incident, in the morning, the victims lodged a complaint about this incident in the concerned Pali police station area. On which a case has been registered against three people including the police officer's sons under section 296, 115, (2), (3), (5) of BNS and investigation has been started.

Reaction....
The victim's family came to the police station. On their complaint a case has been registered against the accused, I also came to know that the accused's father is in the police department but legal action is being taken in the case. The car which has been used in the incident will also be seized after investigation if the facts come to light.
