Damoh, Under the instructions given by Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar, pregnant women are being rescued from villages by Hata administration and health department after checking the expected date of delivery. Under the leadership of SDM Rakesh Markam, CBMO Dr. Umashankar Patel and CDPO Shivkumar Rai have ensured tracking and rescue of all those pregnant women whose expected date of delivery is near. In this strategic process, today two such pregnant women were rescued from Murach village, whose expected date of delivery was near.
To enter Murach village, one has to cross a bridge over a big drain, which has been overflowing since the past few days due to rain. In such a situation, SDM Hata, taking help from the SDRF team, successfully rescued two pregnant women surrounded by the flood of Sunar river in Murach village of Gasabad police station area and safely sent them to Hata Civil Hospital. Murach village was surrounded by flood in Sunar river, so it was necessary to send two women to the hospital due to labor pain. On receiving the information, Hata SDM Rakesh Markam, Project Officer Shiv Rai, Naib Tehsildar Shivram Chadhar, SDRF and health staff reached the spot. Pregnant women Nikita, wife of Rajkumar Ahirwar and Bharti, wife of Rajkumar Ahirwar, were brought out of the village by motor boat and both the pregnant women were safely sent to Civil Hospital Hata by 108.
Hata SDM Rakesh Markam told that information was received from Murach village that there were two pregnant women, who were high risk pregnant women. SDRF reached there. The team of the Women and Child Development team and all the departments jointly visited the place and successfully rescued those women. The women are safe and are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
