The villagers are in panic due to the continuous incidents of theft in the Pondi Chowki area under Nagaud police station of Satna district. Last night, unknown thieves broke the door of the post office office of Pithorabad village and the postman's house attached to it and committed the crime of theft. According to the information, the unknown thieves broke the lock of the post office office opened in the house of postman Gajendra Singh Patel and entered the office and broke the lock of the cupboard kept inside and stole the cash kept there and targeted his house attached to it. Here the thieves broke the wooden door and entered three different rooms and while searching there, stole gold and silver jewelry worth about 5 lakhs kept in the box kept in the rack of the daughter-in-law and children. Apart from this, the thieves also threw the boxes and TV kept in the house outside the house and went away. On receiving the information, Pondi Chowki in-charge Anil Tiwari reached the spot and registered a case against unknown thieves. The police is investigating the matter through CCTV footage installed at the petrol pump and some shops. Apart from this, the criminals of the area who have been involved in such incidents in the past are also being questioned.
