Shajapur, Municipality is doing corruption of lakhs of rupees by ignoring the rules and rigging the construction work, regarding which a complaint has been made on CM Helpline. Municipality is passing wrong bills by getting substandard material used by the contractor from road construction to boundary wall. BJP leader Sandeep Bhadana made these allegations on the responsible officials of Shajapur Municipality during a press conference held in a private hotel in the city on Tuesday. During the press conference, Bhadana told that in ward number 1 Shajapur, from Kalyan Devatwal ji's house to Rajawat ji's house, there is a CC road whose total length is 96 meters, width 5 meters, thickness approximately three and a half to four and a half inches, the length of the wall of Mataji temple near Erica Hospital is 33 meters, whose depth is 4 meters. Its bill has been prepared incorrectly and a complaint has been made on CM helpline. Similarly, the CC road from ward no. 2 Tiwari ji's house to Jain sahab's grocery store has a total length of 225 meters, width is about 3 to 4 meters, thickness is three and a half to four inches. The bill of ward no. 7 Imamwada ground has been prepared incorrectly and the officials of Nagar Palika have refused to measure it. Similarly, corruption is being done in the CC roads constructed in other wards. Inferior material is being used in the construction of HDRA drain going on on Dupara Road. Similarly, the work done under Mukhyamantri Infrastructure is also of poor quality, whose length is 468 meters, width is about 7 meters, thickness is five to six inches. The second road under Mukhyamantri Infrastructure starts from the canal in front of BKSN College and goes up to Nagar Kirana Store Road, whose width is about 6.30 and thickness is 6 inches, whereas according to the rules it should be 8 inches. The third road in this scheme starts from Ashok Auto Garage in Adarsh Colony and goes to Khatushyamji Temple via Gohil Hospital, in which the amount of cement has been reduced drastically. Bhadana says that 16 to 18 bags of cement are required in a fillory machine but only 9 to 11 bags are being used in the construction work. Also, the CC road starting from Swastik Garden near the canal behind Ward 29 Phoolkheri Hanuman Temple to Radheshyam Malviya ji's house is about 145 meters long, 5 meters wide, and about four inches thick. Corruption is being done in all these works, a complaint has been made and action has been demanded against it. Bhadana said that he will keep complaining about the corruption going on in the municipality until action is taken.
