Ticket of these two MLAs cut
The MLAs whose tickets have been cut by the party include Lakhan Sahdev Malik of Washim and current MLA of Gadchiroli Dr. Devrao Holi. This time, two members of the Legislative Council, Gopichand Padalkar and Ramesh Karad, have also been given tickets. Padalkar has been given ticket from Jat while Karad has been given ticket from Latur Rural. Let us tell you that the Mahayuti alliance (BJP, Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction and Ajit Pawar-led NCP) has not yet taken a final decision on the seats. Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule said this morning that discussions are still going on among the three allies on the allocation of the remaining seven to eight seats for the state assembly elections next month.

Announcement on the remaining seats will be made soon

Of the three allies of the Mahayuti alliance, the BJP and Ajit Pawar's NCP have released lists of two candidates each, while Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena has released one list so far. Meanwhile, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has finalized its seat-sharing arrangement for 255 constituencies, with Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) getting 85 seats each. The remaining 23 seats will be decided based on each party's candidate list. With the Maharashtra Assembly elections approaching, both the Mahayuti alliance and the opposition MVA are intensifying meetings to finalise the seat-sharing agreement.
