Anuppur, on 29/10/2024, Bijuri Police was stopping two-wheelers for market arrangements on the occasion of Dhanteras, during which the driver of a Hero Honda Splendor without number plate suddenly turned the vehicle and fled from the spot, who was taken into police custody and the trunk of the said motorcycle was checked in which illegal drug ganja was recovered. Legal action was taken against the accused Sonu Jaiswal, father Jamuna Jaiswal, age 25 years, resident of Jarratola police station Kotma district Anuppur under 8/20 NDPS Act. A total of 2 kg illegal ganja, a numberless motorcycle, and a Realme company mobile phone worth Rs 79000 were recovered from the possession of the accused. In the above raid action, Bijuri Police Station Incharge Inspector Vikas Singh, Sub-Inspector Sone Singh Paraste, PR Satish Mishra, R. Laxman Dangi, R. Ravi Singh, R. Narendra Jat, Abhishek Sharma, R. Anand Bais played a notable role.
