Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a high-level review meeting on preparations before possible floods and droughts in Sankalp Room at CM House on Tuesday. All District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police were also connected to this meeting through video conferencing. The Chief Minister said that DMs of all departments and districts should remain alert regarding floods and droughts. The Chief Minister said that the Disaster Management Department should constantly monitor the entire situation. Work should be done on what needs to be done where so that people do not face any kind of problem. Keep an eye on the groundwater level and make arrangements for drinking water. It should be ensured that people get pure drinking water through Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal Yojana. The work being done for water conservation under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan should be continuously monitored.
