Bhil community submitted memorandum to Superintendent of Police
Serious allegations of harassment against Dabangg

Shajapur, People of Bhil community residing in village Tukrana submitted a memorandum to Superintendent of Police Shajapur on Monday and made serious allegations of continuous harassment, caste-based humiliation and illegal occupation of land against a Dabangg person of the same village. Kaluram father Kanhaiyalal Bhil said that he and his wife Pappibai had lodged a complaint against Shyam Singh resident Tukrana at the police station on 16 June 2025 and 18 February 2025, but till date no action has been taken by the police. The applicant alleges that Shyam Singh is an influential and powerful person, under whose influence the police is not paying attention to their complaints. It was told in the memorandum that the accused insults them by using casteist words every day and is creating an atmosphere of fear in the society. The applicant alleges that the accused has forcibly occupied their personal land and now has an evil eye on the land of other people of the society as well. By submitting a memorandum under the banner of Jais Adivasi Sangathan, the Bhil community has demanded that the case be investigated impartially and strict action be taken against Shyam Singh immediately so that the atmosphere of fear prevailing in the society ends and the victims get justice. They also demanded that the instructions given by the Chief Minister regarding the safety of the tribal community be followed.
