Ujjain, in the case of robbery with a kiosk center operator two days ago, the police arrested all the accused within 48 hours and seized the vehicle used in the robbery along with the looted amount.

On the night of July 13, 2024, Ajay, son of Subhash Bhardwaj, was going to his home after closing his kiosk center located at Kharsod Kalan. Then on the way between Kharsod Kalan and Ravadia Peer, five bike riders beat up Subhash and snatched his bag containing Rs 65000 cash and biometric machine and fled towards Kharsod Kalan. In this case, Bhatpachlana police registered a crime on the complaint of the complainant and started investigation.
As the crime was property related and of serious nature, under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer, Badnagar Mahendra Singh Parmar, 4 separate teams were formed to nab the unknown robbers and sources were activated by investigating the crime from every angle. The result of which was that on the information of the informer, the police team waiting for the suspect near the warehouse on Ordi-Kharsod Kalan road stopped the Tavera car and on strict interrogation of the people in it, all of them accepted their crime. After this, the police formally arrested the accused.

The crime was carried out by doing recce

The accused told in the interrogation that for the last 5-6 days, all the seven companions were continuously doing recce of the kiosk center operator Ajay Bhardwaj with the intention of robbery. On the night of the incident, accused Ravi and Govardhan were sitting in the Tavera car and doing recce of the complainant Ajay. As soon as the complainant left the kiosk center for home, Ravi and Govardhan signaled their five other companions. On getting the signal, Bablu, Dilip, Sanjay, Kailash and Vikas, all residents of Kalyanpura, Bhatpachalana, started following him on their bikes and at the very moment, accused Dilip attacked complainant Ajay from behind on his neck and made him fall along with the bike and after beating him, snatched away his bag containing money and goods and ran away towards Kharsod Kala.
