Anuppur, Collector Shri Harshal Pancholi, while reviewing the works done under Jal Jeevan Mission, took information about the ground status of the works done under the scheme and said that the work done under the single and group water supply scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission should be seen being implemented on the ground. He said that the works will be reviewed by conducting surprise inspections. In the meeting, the Collector, while getting information about the works done in the villages of the district under the single and group water supply scheme, gave instructions to verify the implementation of the works. He said that during the verification of the works on the ground, the presence of the Sarpanch and Secretary of the concerned Gram Panchayat should also be ensured. He said that in case of any kind of problem, the solution should be ensured at the ground level itself. He directed to set up a control room for daily review of the status of water supply from the pump operator level for the implementation of schemes transferred under Jal Jeevan Mission of Jal Nigam and Public Health Engineering Department and to obtain information. He said that the departmental officers and employees should attend to the complaints related to tap water and ensure its prompt resolution.
