Satna/Chitrakoot, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Shri Rajendra Shukla said that a cow sanctuary will be developed in the form of cow safari for the conservation of cow progeny in the Bagdara valley of Chitrakoot. He said that this area has been known as the natural habitat of mother cow since ancient times. Therefore, the cattle roaming here remain healthy. He said that 20-20 hectare forest area on both sides of the road in Bagdara Valley will be protected from wild animals by fencing it and cow shed and other animals will be built on 50 acres of adjoining revenue land. Facilities will be developed. He said that on the lines of Basaman Mama Cow Sanctuary, here also help will be taken from donors and public cooperation in the operation of the cow shelter.

On this occasion, Collector in-charge Dr. Parikshit Jhade, District Forest Divisional Officer Vipin Patel presented the outline and action plan of the cow sanctuary to be built in Bagdara Valley.

Vindhya residents and people of Satna Chitrakoot district expressed their gratitude to the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister and said that this is an excellent arrangement for cow service which was much needed. Appreciating the efforts of the Honorable Ji, they welcomed him.
