Katni, Annual Chandmari is being organized from 22nd February to 25th February in village Ghughra of Katni district. This event is organized every year by the police administration in the firing range, in which guns and modern weapons used by constables to police officers are tested. Which is called annual moonlight. The objective of which is to make the police personnel practice the use of weapons and to reward the employees and officers who are skilled in firing and to boost morale.

Katni District Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Ranjan reached the firing range and took stock of the arrangements and security there and gave necessary instructions to the security inspector and the officers and employees used for firing. Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Ranjan also fired from pistol, INSAS and SLR, in which 10 out of 10 targets of the District Police Captain were hit with the pistol and INSAS. The manner of firing was also analyzed by the police captain. Firing was also done by City Superintendent of Police Khyati Mishra and police station in-charge. On this occasion, Reserve Inspector Sandhya Rajput, Subedar Sonam Uike, Dhimarkheda police station incharge, Sleemanabad police station incharge and other police officers and police employees were present.
