Ambuja Cement's grand entry in Bihar
Adani Group will invest ₹1600 crore for grinding unit

A company of Adani Group chairman and billionaire Gautam Adani has planned to invest in Bihar. In fact, Adani Group company Ambuja Cement Limited (ACL) will invest about Rs 1,600 crore to set up a grinding plant in Warisaliganj in Nawada district of Bihar. According to the announcement, a cement grinding unit of 60 lakh tonnes per annum capacity will be set up in Mosama village of Warisaliganj tehsil. With this announcement, Ambuja Cement is going to make the biggest investment in the cement sector of Bihar. According to the company, this project will be completed in 3 phases and in the first phase, 24 lakh tonnes capacity will be created with an investment of Rs 1100 crore. The target is to complete it by December 2025. In the foundation stone laying ceremony organized by Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that this investment by Adani Group shows the scope of growth in the state and the government's commitment to promote development for the people of Bihar. The state will get an annual revenue of Rs 250 crore from this plant. Along with this, 250 direct and 1 thousand indirect jobs will be created. BIADA has allotted 67.90 acres of land to Ambuja Cements for this unit. Apart from Nawada, BIADA has allotted 26.60 acres of land to Ambuja Cements for another cement unit in Mahabal, Motipur (Muzaffarpur). However, environmental clearance is yet to be taken for this.
