Lalbarra, with the collective chanting of 'food for the hungry, water for the thirsty, Jai Baba Barfani' and 'Bam-Bam Bhole', a group of pilgrims from Lalbarra left for the darshan of Baba Amarnath in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. For this, representatives of Garhwal society and local dignitaries were present in the evening at the residence of Shri Anirudh Belji in village Katangtola. All the pilgrims going for Amarnath Yatra were present here and when all the pilgrims arrived, they were given Tilak and garlands, they were given sweets and were happily sent off by bursting crackers. Before the farewell, the birthday of Pintu Nageshwar, resident of Manpur, an active member of Garhwal society, was also celebrated by cutting a cake. Among those who left for Amarnathji Yatra today, Manpur resident Manoj Panditwar is going for the twelfth time and Nagpur resident district member Harishankar Banwari is going to Amarnathji for the fifth time. Other pilgrims include Kartik Banwari Nagpur, Aniruddh Belji and Mrs. Lalita Belji Katangtola, Jitendra Nageshwar Pandharwani, Rajendra Shivvanshi Bharveli and Nilesh Pancheshwar, Satish Pancheshwar, Esulal Pancheshwar and Mohan Pancheshwar of village Manpur. The pilgrims were given a ceremonial farewell and prayers were offered to the God for their safe journey.
